Fort Aero Upgrades The Fleet with EFB

A bid to deliver the most efficient and safe service in the industry.

Fort Aero, the Estonian business aircraft operator based in Tallinn (TLL), upgraded its aircraft with electronic flight bag (EFB) devices in a bid to deliver the most efficient and safe service in the industry.

The company’s fleet was equipped with the EFB devices to provide the pilots with all the required information on weather, airport issues and delays with a single touch on an iPad’s display. From Fort Aero’s perspective, it is important to ensure that the operational data is reliable and accurate during the flight. Thus, Fort Aero maintains the high standard of the flight operations.

Thanks to EFB, there is no need to perpetually print new documents such as NOTAM alerts and information updates on weather conditions. With their environmental benefits and smoother operation, electronic charts are increasingly favored over paper charts by pilots worldwide. The installed EFB devices feature flight planning and navigational software from Jeppesen.

The fleet of Fort Aero includes Falcon 2000, Falcon 900LX, and Nextant 400XTI types of aircraft. In business aviation since 1997, Fort Aero is a global business jet operator with offices in Estonia, Ukraine, and project offices in Switzerland and Hong Kong.
